Review by hotel critic
Review of National Hotel, DüsseldorfDuring our recent family vacation in Düsseldorf, we had the pleasure of staying at the National Hotel, conveniently located near the tram stop, allowing us easy access to the city's attractions. The hotel offered a comfortable room that catered well to our family needs, equipped with standard amenities befitting its four-star status. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which featured an impressive array of fresh fruits, including exotic options like mango and kiwi-perfect for refueling after our daily explorations. The children particularly enjoyed the homemade jam, a small yet delightful touch to our mornings. In the evenings, we ventured out to nearby cafes and restaurants, with recommendations like Himmel und Erd providing a nice atmosphere for dinner after a day of sightseeing. A visit to the Roncalli's Apollo Varieté was also a memorable family outing, where we were enthralled by the circus arts and performances. The management's focus on hospitality and family-friendly amenities truly enhanced our stay. The National Hotel provided a practical, welcoming environment, making it a solid choice for families seeking comfort and a connection to Düsseldorf's vibrant offerings.
